Growing up as such a small person in the city, Nedda had to learn to talk fast, make use of her natural size and develop her agility for when the first two options weren’t enough. Early on she developed a strong friendship and confidant in a boy named McKinley.

When it turned out that McKinley had natural magic aptitude and he would be sent to the Mage’s Academy in Rickenmyre, she talked her way into joining him through a combination of witty conversations and sly trickery.

It didn’t take long for her plot to be discovered, her first instructor, Harold, discovered her ploy. Utilizing all of her charms, Nedda was able to convince him not to immediately boot her out of the school. When it became apparrent that she could not stay there anymore, Harold offerred to let her accompany him as he too left the school in search of more exciting surroundings.
